Phone Calls For Medical Questions
Emergencies Cardiac emergencies require hospital care and cannot be treated over the telephone. In the case of any emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. We have a cardiologist on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so feel free to have the emergency room physician notify an NWOCC cardiologist if your emergency is cardiac related. After 4:30 p.m., our office phone number (419-842-3000) is forwarded to an answering service. Simply ask the service to page the NWOCC physician on call. Non-Emergencies Phone If you need to talk with a doctor or nurse today call the office of the cardiologist you see. Our nurse will take your call, review your medical record, discuss your question with your cardiologist if neccessary and answer your questions. Our offices handle routine phone calls from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please make non-emergency calls during our regular office hours so that we have access to your medical records. |
